1. When should I book my tee time?

Guests are encouraged to reserve and confirm their tee times as early as possible to ensure availability.

2. Is advance payment required
Yes. Full payment is required before play, and proof of bank transfer should be sent to the resort.
3. What is the cancellation policy

Cancellation fees depend on how close the cancellation is to the reserved tee time:

  • 14–8 days prior: 25% fee
  • 7–3 days prior: 50% fee
  • 2 days or less prior, or no-show: 100% fee
4. What are the opening hours of the golf resort?

The golf resort is open 365 days a year from 7:00 AM until sunset.

5. How many players are allowed per flight?

Daily play is organized in flights of up to four players.

6. Are soft spikes required?

Yes. Soft spikes are mandatory for all players on the golf course.

7. Is there a dress code?

Yes. Appropriate golf attire is required at all times on the golf course.

8. Are pets allowed on the golf course?
No. Pets are not permitted on the golf course or inside the Club House.
9. Can I use my mobile phone while playing?

Mobile phone use on the golf course is discouraged to maintain proper golf etiquette and player experience.

10. What golf etiquette should players follow?
All players are expected to respect international golf etiquette as well as the resort's local rules and regulations. Failure to comply may result in suspension from the course.
11. Can confirmed tee times be changed by the resort?

In special circumstances such as regional, national, or international tournaments and events, the resort may adjust confirmed tee times. Affected guests will be informed in advance whenever possible.

12. Are golf packages transferable or refundable?

No. Golf packages are personal, non-transferable, cannot be shared with other players, and are non-refundable.

13. Is the resort open throughout the year?

Yes. Madinat Makadi Golf Resort operates year-round, including weekends and holidays.

14. Can media or publications use information about the resort?

Any publication or promotional use featuring Madinat Makadi Golf Resort must receive prior approval from the resort management.

15. Who can join the golf lessons?

Guests staying at any Madinat Makadi hotel are welcome to join the golf lessons. Registration is required.

16. Are golf lessons suitable for beginners?
Yes. The resort offers an Introduction to Golf program specifically designed for non-golfers and beginners.
17. When are the Introduction to Golf sessions held?

Introduction to Golf sessions take place every Monday and Wednesday at 10:00 AM.

18. Is registration required for golf lessons?

Yes. Advance registration is required for all participants.

19. Is there an entrance fee to participate?

Yes. An entrance fee applies to participants joining the golf activities.

20. Are children allowed to participate?

Yes. Children aged 6 to 12 years can participate free of charge.

21. Can I receive instruction on the Executive Course?

Yes. Guests can book coaching sessions on the Executive Course with a golf professional. Golf clubs and trolleys are included.

Yes. Golf clubs and trolleys are included when booking the Executive Course with a professional instructor.
23. Are lesson prices subject to change?

Yes. Management reserves the right to modify lesson rates without prior notice.
